MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The Russian national anti-doping program will be ready in early 2017, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Thursday.

“I am sure that the so-called doping scandal will allow us to create the most advanced system of righting this evil in Russia. I assume that the national program of counteracting doping will be ready as early as the beginning of next year,” Putin said, addressing the Federal Assembly.

On December 1, Russian President Vladimir Putin made his Annual Sate of the Nation Address.
