Earlier on Friday, a Russian delegation headed by Energy Minister Alexander Novak held a meeting with Spanish representatives in Spain's Chamber of Commerce. Spanish Secretary of State for Trade Maria Luisa Poncela Garcia headed the Spanish delegation.
According to the source, during the talks the sides discussed the prospects of cooperation in the spheres of energy, transport, infrastructure, aerospace industry. However, the sides agreed that it was important to promote cooperation not only between large enterprises but also between mall businesses in Russia and Spain.
The Russian delegation also held a number of meetings with Spain's energy companies executives and the state secretary for energy, according to the source.
