MOSCOW (Sputnik) — A total of 10 militants have left blocked areas in eastern Aleppo under the auspices of the Russian center for Syrian reconciliation in past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said Saturday.
"Within last 24 hours, 10 insurgents have left the blocked areas of the eastern part of Aleppo under the auspices of the Russian Centre for reconciliation," the ministry said in a daily bulletin posted on its website.
It is noted that Aleppo residents have received about 1.5 tons of humanitarian aid.
"Posts with hot meal and items of first necessity continue their work for civilians who leave the districts of the Aleppo city, which are under control of terrorist armed groupings," the bulletin reads.
