BEIJING (Sputnik) — Strategic cooperation between Beijing and Moscow has become the guarantor of peace and stability worldwide, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Saturday.
"The strategic cooperation between Russia and China has gone beyond the bilateral format and has become the guarantor of the protection of international peace and stability," Wang said, speaking at the opening ceremony of an academic forum in Beijing.
The high level of Sino-Russian relations has been maintained with due diligence, the head of the Chinese Foreign Ministry noted, adding that the two sides are carrying out comprehensive cooperation, not only for the benefit of the two nations, but also to maintain peace and stability both on international and regional levels.
