Polling stations closed on Sunday at 08:00 p.m. [15:00 GMT] in Uzbekistan.
"The Central Election Commission will announce the preliminary results of the presidential election at a briefing at 04:00 p.m. [11:00 GMT] on Monday, December 5," Abdusalomov told reporters.
Earlier in the day, the Commission said that 87 percent of the voters had cast their ballots and no electoral law violations had been registered.
Four candidates are running for the presidency, including acting head of state Shavkat Mirziyoyev from the Liberal Democratic Party, Deputy Parliament Speaker Hotamzhon Ketmonov from the People's Democratic Party, economist Sarwar Otamuratov from the Milliy Tiklanish (National Revival) Democratic Party, and Narimon Umarov, the head of the Justice Social Democratic Party.
Early presidential elections were scheduled in Uzbekistan after President Islam Karimov, who ruled the country for 25 years, died on September 2.
