Foreign Intel Services Prepared Major Cyberattacks on Russia's Financial System
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to a KISA report, cyberattacks may rise due to political instability in the country and are likely to target military and North Korea-related sites, the Yonhap news agency said on Monday.

The agency highlighted that malicious software might be used in the cyberattacks, which would ban access to the files saved on a computer or other devices.

"In particular, mobile financial services will be threatened by the malicious apps," the report said, as quoted by Yonhap.

North Korea has been repeatedly accused of waging cyber wars against South Korea and US companies. In 2013, North Korea carried out massive cyberattacks on South Korean financial companies broadcasters, causing network crashes.
