MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the poll, center-right nominee Fillon would gain 65 percent of the votes versus Le Pen's 35, if the two of them battle each other in the final round of the election, while one of the potential candidates from the left, former Economy Minister Emmanuel Macron would gain 62 percent of the votes in the face-off with Le Pen.
The poll was conducted on November 28-20 and December 2-3 among 3,282 people aged at least 18.
Macron announced his presidential bid on November 16 but, despite participation in the government of the Socialist president Francois Hollande, he refused to take part in the Socialist primaries.
The first tour of the French presidential election will take place in April 2017.
