MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The presidents talked by phone on Tuesday, discussing implementation of joint projects in trade, energy and other economy sectors and deal on slashing down oil output.
"The sides discussed current issues of Russia-Venezuela strategic cooperation, including the implementation of joint projects in trade, energy and other economy sectors," the Kremlin press service said in a statement.
"The leaders also exchanged opinions on the situation on the global oil market in the context of the agreement on reduction of oil production coordinated by the OPEC and the upcoming meeting of energy ministers of OPEC and non-OPEC oil producing countries in Vienna on December 10," the statement said.
