The relations normalized in June after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had apologized for the incident. In August, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia would gradually lift economic restrictions imposed on Turkey.
"I'm sure that with joint efforts we have turned a difficult page of Russian-Turkish relations and on a new foundation we can move forward, today's talks gave it a necessary boost," Medvedev told reporters after talks with the Turkish prime minister.
"We have held meaningful talks, we have discussed a wide range of topics. These are trade, investments, oil, gas and nuclear energy as well as issues of industry, high technologies."
Talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan have been scheduled for the first half of 2017,the Russian prime minister said.
