MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Last week, the Soyuz-U rocket lifted off from the Baikonur space center in Kazakhstan, carrying the Progress MS-04 space freighter bound for the International Space Station. The telemetry exchange with the spacecraft was lost 383 seconds into the flight. Earlier on Wednesday, media reports emerged citing the mission control center, claiming that the emergency stop of the engine was behind the incident.
”Any version which are now being voiced by the media have nothing to do with reality, including the incorrect cyclogram data. The results of the commission’s work will be announced no earlier than December 20,” a spokesperson told RIA Novosti.
