Pennsylvania Vote Count: Largest Cities Complete, Results Near the Same
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The Michigan Court of Appeals said state election officials should never have allowed a recount because Stein, “has no chance to overturn the result of the presidential election in her favor and is not an aggrieved candidate,” the Detroit Free Press said on Tuesday.

The US 6th Circuit Court of Appeals, meanwhile, at around the same time upheld a previous decision to allow the recount to begin on Tuesday. The combined effect of the two rulings, according to the report, will lead to further court proceedings.

The report also noted that the cost of the recount in Michigan was estimated as high as $5 million.  Stein launched a donor-backed campaign for recounts in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin last month after allegations of electoral fraud.
