WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Georgia’s Bureau of Investigation had ended a manhunt for Minguell Kennedy, the individual who was allegedly responsible for killing one law enforcement officer and wounding another in a morning shootout, NBC News reported.
The report, however, did not specify whether the suspect was killed by police.
Earlier on Thursday, officers Nicholas Ryan Smarr and Jodi Smith exchanged fire with the suspect while responding to a domestic disturbance call at an apartment complex.
Kennedy had warrants for his arrest for kidnapping and other charges.
