LONDON (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day, McLaren introduced the second part of the report on alleged Russian doping abuse, revealing manipulations by athletes in 30 sporting disciplines.
"We are done. This is it," McLaren said, answering the question of Russian journalists about the possibility of publication of the third part of the report.
He stressed that the report was published in two parts as there was no possibility to examine all the information available at the moment of the publication of the first part.
As a result, the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) banned the Russian athletes from taking part in international competitions including the 2016 Summer Olympics. The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) later banned all Russian Paralympic athletes from the 2016 Summer Paralympics and the 2018 Winter Games.
