More than 3,500 civilians left the liberated areas of Eastern Aleppo on Monday, a security representative said.

DAMASCUS (Sputnik) – Over 3,500 civilians on Monday managed to flee eastern parts of the Syrian city of Aleppo that had been liberated from terrorists, a representative of the city’s security service said.

"Over 3,500 civilians left eastern Aleppo at dawn today. The Syrian Army and the security services have already arranged all the necessary conditions for their transportation to temporarily equipped refugee camps in Jibreen," the representative told RIA Novosti.

Earlier in the day, the Syrian Army and militias regained full control over three Aleppo districts, namely, Sheikh Saeed, Firdous and Karm al-Dada.

Over the past three weeks, the Syrian army and militias have freed more than 90 percent of the territory of eastern Aleppo, which had been held by terrorists since 2012, and have liberated over 100,000 residents of the city.
