Italy's Prime Minister-Designate Gentiloni Forms New Government Cabinet
18:10 GMT 12.12.2016 (Updated: 18:11 GMT 12.12.2016) Italy's Prime Minister-designate Paolo Gentiloni submitted a list of ministers to form the country's new government to President Sergio Mattarella, Secretary General of the Presidential Office Hugo Zampetti said on Monday.
ROME (Sputnik) — Gentiloni and Mattarella met at the Quirinal Palace at 7:30 p.m. local time [18:30 GMT]. The meeting lasted for about an hour.
The swearing-in ceremony for the new ministers will be held later in the day, at 19:00 GMT.
