Daesh Moves Reserves to Palmyra Thanks to Pause in US-Controlled Raqqa Offensive
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Last week, Operation Inherent Resolve spokesman Col. John Dorrian stated the coalition was facilitating talks between Turkey and the Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), who participate in the Raqqa offensive, in order to reduce mutual tensions.

"For the operation to seize and hold Raqqa, which will be coming, we are in close consultations with our partners, including Turkey," McGurk noted. "I was in Ankara last week for talks on this and other topics and these talks were quite fruitful."
