Boeing Selling Combat Air-Training System to Saudi Arabia

Boeing has won a $60 million US Air Force foreign-military-sales contract to supply Saudi Arabia with a Database Generation System and a Full Mission Trainer/Integrated Avionics Trainer, according to the Pentagon.

The second of four Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) upgraded aircraft were delivered to the French Air Force on Wednesday, US aircraft manufacturer Boeing said in a statement - Sputnik International

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – Boeing has won a $60 million US Air Force foreign-military-sales contract to supply Saudi Arabia with a Database Generation System and a Full Mission Trainer/Integrated Avionics Trainer, the Department of Defense announced.

“The Boeing Company [of] St. Louis, Missouri, has been awarded a $59.9 million…contract action for deliverables supporting the Saudi Arabian military,” the announcement on Tuesday said.

Work will be performed in St. Louis and Saudi Arabia and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2019. The contract is listed as a 100 percent foreign military sale to Saudi Arabia, according to the announcement.
