TOKYO (Sputnik) – The Eurasian Economic Union is a Russia-initiated regional political and economic bloc that aims to streamline the flow of goods and services between its members, namely Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan.
"By the way, an expert discussion of forming a new free trade zone between the EAEU and Japan is being planned in the nearest future," Putin said at a plenary session on Russia-Japan business dialogue.
