MOSCOW (Sputnik) — More than a 1,000 manufactures and organizations are expected to take part in the forum. More than 10,000 models of military and dual-use products will be presented at the exposition, and the number of visitors is expected to be more than 500,000, according to Popov.
"In order to boost the the participants and guests' interest in the forum we plan to continue improving the infrastructure of the Patriot park, Kubinka airfield and Alabino training ground, build static exposition on the main platform by topical sections based on the need for goal-oriented search of specific innovation developments… Extend the cluster of aviation equipment at Kubinka airfield and draw national and foreign producers to participate in the static and dynamic shows," Popov explained during a meeting devoted to the preparations for the forum.
According to Popov, static and dynamic shows of sea robototechnical complexes are to be organized as well as shows of hydroaviation and small-sized swimming boats on the Komsomolskoye Lake. The organizers also plan to hold the second drone-biathlon competition with the use of latest technologies and prepare demonstration of small arms in the multifunctional fire center.
