TOKYO (Sputnik) — Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Friday expressed readiness to visit the Eastern Economic Forum in Russia's Pacific city of Vladivostok in 2017.
Russian President Vladimir Putin is currently visiting Japan. Within the framework of his visit, Putin invited Abe to visit Russia, for example, during the Eastern Economic Forum or any other events.
"As I've promised Vladimir, I will be ready to come to the Eastern Economic Forum next year and to review the implementation of the issues we have agreed on," Abe said following the negotiations with Putin.
