MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The press service told R-Sport that the official probe would be launched if a possible preliminary investigation found some evidence.
As of now, no official investigation is being conducted, the press service added.
Earlier in the day, reports emerged that the FIFA Ethics Committee had launched the official investigation in relation to Mutko, who was Russia's sports minister, following the presentation of the second part of the report by WADA commission led by Canadian sports law professor Richard McLaren on doping manipulations in Russian sport.
