UNITED NATIONS (Sputnik) — Washington hopes that on Monday the UN Security Council (UNSC) will vote unanimously in favor of the draft resolution on monitoring in Syria's Aleppo, US Permanent Representative to the UN Samantha Power said Sunday.
"I will say that we worked very constructively together with the representative of the Russian Federation on the text and I can’t speak for how his system works but we expect to vote unanimously for this text tomorrow at 9 a.m.," Power told reporters after Security Council consultations.
