Sputnik International Information Agency and Radio launched on Monday a Lithuania news portal in Lithuanian and Russian languages.

VILNIUS (Sputnik) — The team of experienced journalists and editors has started to cover both local and international events, providing different views on the most pressing issues. The website will feature numerous multimedia formats, including infographics, videos, photo galleries, online streams and Internet surveys. The service will provide analysis, exclusive interviews and opinion pieces.

Sputnik Lithuania is the third resource of the Sputnik news agency in the Baltic countries after Sputnik Latvia and Sputnik Estonia news portals, launched in early 2016. In October, Sputnik Estonia entered the top 10 of the news portal covering social and political news in the country.
