MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the NTV broadcaster, citing a security source, the suspect denied all the accusations against him.
The truck that drove into a crowd of people at a Christmas market in Berlin late on Monday killed at least 12 and injured 48 people. The police confirmed that the truck-ramming was intentional.
Earlier in the day, the police identified the detained driver as a Pakistani citizen, who arrived in the German southeastern city of Passau on December 31, 2015.
