BERLIN (Sputnik) — The truck that drove into a crowd of people at a Christmas market in Berlin late on Monday killed at least 12 and injured 48 people. The police confirmed that the truck-ramming was intentional.
"A decision has been made for all police patrols to be armed," state of Saarland Interior Minister Klaus Bouillon said following an early law enforcement session.
Bouillon said further security decisions would be made in coordination with local administrations.
