The Ford Motor Company teamed up with experts from Germany's Meyer-Hentschel Institute and developed an unusual suit that simulates the effects of "the morning after" on the human organism. This may sound not quite serious; however, it is: the costume was created to demonstrate how dangerous it can be to hit the road with a hangover.
Many people drink more alcohol during the holidays, so "it is a peak time for drivers to take a risk that could be fatal — both for themselves and other road users," Ford stressed in the description to the video.
The costume was created as part of Ford's Driving Skills for Life global program, which offers free training for new drivers.
Ford also created the "Drunk Driving Suit" and "Drugged Driving Suit" in 2014 and 2015 respectively. The suits simulating alcohol and drug intoxication demonstrated how seriously these conditions affect people's driving ability.
