MOSCOW (Sputnik) — A blast allegedly caused by an explosive device was heard on Wednesday near the parliament building in Afghanistan's capital Kabul, local media reported.
No casualties have been reported so far, the Khama Press news outlet reported.
The situation in Afghanistan has significantly deteriorated in recent months. The country is suffering from the activity of the Taliban, a militant group formed in the 1990s, seeking to establish Sharia law in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Other terrorist groups, including the Islamic State, banned in Russia and many other countries, are also active in Afghanistan.
