Berlin Returns to Normality, Tourists Keep Coming After Terrorist Attack
BERLIN (Sputnik) – On Monday, a truck rammed into a crowd at a Berlin Christmas market on the Breitscheidplatz square, killing 12 people and injuring 49 more. The country's Interior Ministry has labeled the incident a terrorist attack.

"This is necessary for complementary protection to people," the spokeswoman said, as quoted by the DPA news agency.

The concrete blocks have already been placed around the Christmas market at Potsdamer Platz and the same measures will be taken to ensure security beside the Brandenburg Gate where massive Christmas and New Year celebrations will take place.
