MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russian President Vladimir Putin said Wednesday that more than 2.5 trillion rubles (some $40.9 billion) will remain in Russia's Reserve and National Wealth funds by the end of 2018.
"We planned that up to 2.5 trillion rubles would remain in our reserves. It will be more than that. Currently, we have over 6.6 trillion rubles [in reserves]," Putin said at a meeting with lawmakers from both chambers of the Russian parliament.
