Berlin Attack Suspect Reportedly Killed in Gunfight in Milan
BERLIN (Sputnik) – Earlier on Friday, Italian Interior Minister Marco Minniti said that Anis Amri suspected of having committed the Berlin attack was killed in a shootout with police in Milan early in the day.

"It is important for us to reveal whether the suspect had accomplices or a network of accomplices while preparing and committing the crime as well as fleeing," the spokesperson said.

The spokesperson also added that it was still unknown whether the weapons found in possession of the Berlin attack chief suspect, who was killed in Milan earlier in the day, had been used during the Berlin attack.

On Monday, a truck rammed into a crowd at the Christmas market in the center of Berlin, killing 12 and injuring 48 people.
