Russian President Vladimir Putin will travel to the United States if US President-elect Donald Trump invites him.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russian President Vladimir Putin said Friday during his annual press conference he was willing to travel to the United States if US President-elect Donald Trump invites him.

"If he will invite [me], then of course, I will travel [to the United Sates]," Putin said.

Russian President Vladimir Putin on December 23 held a major end-of-the-year press conference.
