MOSCOW (Sputnik) According to the Anadolu Agency, Tugluk was detained by police as part of an investigation carried out by the Diyarbakir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Her arrest follows 13 other arrests of HDP officials last month, the media outlet reported.

All HDP lawmakers in custody are reportedly believed to have ties with the PKK, an organization which Turkey regards as a terrorist group.
