Armed Syrian Opposition to Attend Astana Talks as Single Block - Source
10:41 GMT 16.01.2017 (Updated: 10:47 GMT 16.01.2017) Armed Syrian opposition groups have agreed with the necessity to take part in the Astana talks on Syria on January 23, and will attend as a single block, a Free Syrian Army source told Sputnik on Monday.
DUBAI (Sputnik) – According to the source, former chief negotiator for the Syrian opposition High Negotiations Committee (HNC) Mohammed Alloush will attend the event.
"The groups have agreed to go to Astana … Maybe groups which have objections regarding Astana will not send their representatives, but representatives of separate groups will represent all groups," the source said.
