The lantern scenes are meant to represent and highlight the significant route of trade and culture from Europe to Ancient China.
"This year you will come here to explore a circle road in a form of lanterns. So start from the modern lanterns, across Europe, Middle East, Central Asia and come back to China. You will see loads of difference and discover the culture different parts of the world," Ian Xiang, Creative Co-Director of the Magical Lantern Festival, told Sputnik.
