Israel Begins Construction of Road Connecting West Bank Settlements to Country
MOSCOW (Sputnik) – According to the Haaretz newspaper, the majority of the housing units are situated within the settlement blocs, while some 100 units are located in the neighborhood of Migron.

The move comes amid international opposition to Israel's settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. On December 23, 2016, the UN Security Council voted 14-0, with the United States abstaining, to pass a resolution calling on Israel to immediately and completely cease all settlement activities in the areas.
