Syria's armed opposition does not rule out participation in Geneva talks following the negotiations in Astana should the latter have positive results, member of the opposition delegation Osama Abu Zeid told Sputnik Tuesday.

ASTANA (Sputnik) — The Syrian armed opposition delegation includes up to 15 groups, including Jaysh al-Islam, which Russia has repeatedly urged to include in the list of terrorist groups of the UN Security Council.

"The issue will be tied to the results of the Astana talks. If there would be positive results, then maybe. As for now, it is difficult to tell," Zeid said.
