Space Song: Putin Demonstrates His Rarely Seen Musical Side
10:50 GMT 26.01.2017 (Updated: 19:29 GMT 19.10.2022) Watch (and listen!) Vladimir Putin singing along to a song about space exploration together with Russian students.
Russian President Vladimir Putin visited the Moscow State University as part of Students' Day celebrated in Russia on January 25. One student began playing a guitar, performing a Soviet-era space exploration song called "14 minutes to launch." Putin sang a brief excerpt from the song "On the dusty paths of far-away planets our footprints will remain," drawing a round of applause from those in attendance.
