Rival Zoos Face Off in a Cute Animals Twitter Contest
16:41 GMT 28.01.2017 (Updated: 12:53 GMT 14.04.2023) A number of zoos and aquariums ended up involved in an impromptu friendly Twitter competition known as #cuteanimaltweetoff.
When Smithsonian's National Zoo released a picture of a newborn gray seal pup, a Twitter user named Sarah Hill from Virginia challenged the Virginia Aquarium to show their own cute animals. And when the aquarium answered this informal challenge, the contest now known as the #cuteanimaltweetoff (the hashtag was introduced by Bronx Zoo) was on.
So which animal do you think is the cutest?
