WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The president noted that he would want the US pharmaceutical companies to lower drug prices, boost innovations and move production back to the United States.
"Our trade policy will prioritize that foreign countries pay their fair share for US-manufactured drugs, so our drug companies have greater financial resources to accelerate a development of new cures," Trump stated.
At the same time, Trump also pledged to streamline approval of new drugs.
