Residents of the Russian town of Zhigulevsk in the Samara region captured on video a mature bear climbing a tree near one of the city streets.

The townies assumed that the bear was a runaway from a circus.

No wonder why a cameraman was afraid to make a step towards the animal: "I won't get closer – it is huge! Zhigulevsk, Russia… just the way things are," he says.
