At least four people were killed by avalanche at the ski resort of Tignes in France, according to local media.

PARIS (Sputnik) — An avalanche killed at least four people at the ski resort of Tignes in France, the BFMTV channel reported Monday citing representatives of rescue services.

The report said the circumstances of the incident in Tignes, which is a commune in southeastern France's Savoie department in the Rhône-Alpes region, were being established.
