Let My Crimea Go!
14:31 GMT 15.02.2017 (Updated: 11:32 GMT 06.08.2022) After the White House issued a statement that it expects Moscow to return Crimea to Kiev, Russian government officials retorted that Russian territory cannot be 'returned' to a foreign state.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova firmly stated that Crimea is a part of Russia and therefore cannot be 'returned' to anyone — the peninsula is already home.
