Say Good Night: Russian Soldiers Demonstrate Nocturnal Combat Tactic
14:20 GMT 20.02.2017 (Updated: 19:29 GMT 19.10.2022) Russian troops practiced night combat drills at the Totsky range in Orenburg Region, demonstrating a recently-developed move.
Instead of launching a frontal attack, a reinforced task group maneuvered around the flank and rear of the enemy during a search-and-raid. Artillery provided fire support to motorized infantry by blinding the enemy and illuminating targets. More than 200 generals and officers observed the nighttime military exercises.
