Former Utah governor and ambassador to China, Jon Huntsman could become next US ambassador to Russia, according to media reports.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The White House is considering the former Utah governor and ambassador to China, Jon Huntsman, to become next US ambassador to Russia, according to US media reports on Wednesday.

A senior official in the Trump administration told CNN the White House is discussing the position with Huntsman.
