MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Earlier in the day, UK Minister for Europe and the Americas, Sir Alan Duncan met in London with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Vladimir Titov.
"Sir Alan Duncan noted the importance of a political settlement to bring an end to the war in Syria, on which Russia must play a role," the statement read.
