The incident took place in the city of Gonaives located about 150 kilometers from Haiti's capital of Port-au-Prince. A rescue operation is underway at the site.
The runaway bus hit 2 pedestrians, killing one, then rammed into a group of musicians when it tried to escape.
The reason for the incident is unknown so far.
