We Have a Liftoff! Delta IV Rocket Blasts Off Into Space
14:00 GMT 19.03.2017 (Updated: 11:35 GMT 06.08.2022) On March 18 the United Launch Alliance commenced its first Delta IV rocket launch in 2017 from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.
The rocket's payload was comprised of the ninth satellite of the US Air Force’s Wideband Global Satcom (WGS) constellation, providing additional power to the US' military communications network globally.
