This comes as a response to Secretary of State Rex Tillerson’s visit to Japan, where he utilized some tough talk regarding the DPRK, including floating the possibility of a “pre-emptive strike.”
However, foreign policy experts say Tillerson’s comments are simply a more transparent and bombastic variant of longstanding US policy towards the insular Asian country.
