13:08 GMT 24.04.2017 (Updated: 19:30 GMT 19.10.2022) The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were handing out bottles at a water stop when some London marathon runners decided it was a good chance to have some fun with the royals and splashed water right in Prince William's face.
Prince William, Prince Harry and Kate Middleton kicked off London Marathon 2017 by pushing the red button on April 23 in the morning. A record 40,382 runners took part in the 37th annual 26.2-mile (~42.2-km) race.
