STRASBOURG (Sputnik) – Head of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Pedro Agramunt failed to show up at the last day of the spring session where he was expected to step down, a PACE source told Sputnik.

"He was not at the meeting," the source said on Friday.

A PACE Bureau statement is expected in the near future.
